2023 Year-End Review: Five Years

After rate-hike upheaval in 2022, markets in 2023 offered a nice rebound. The year also contained the five-year anniversary of Conover, a welcome opportunity for reflection. In this letter, I:

1. Review investment results from the last five years (time to do better!)

2. Review hits and misses from five years of newsletters

3. Offer a defense of the "Magnificent Seven"
