“[What we do] is such a simple approach that it’s almost deceptive.” – Warren Buffett
I had the great pleasure of attending the Berkshire Hathaway annual meeting in Omaha, Nebraska this past weekend. It was the first meeting in many decades where Warren Buffett's right-hand-man, Charlie Munger, was not present, as he passed away late last year at the age of 99. The first Berkshire meeting since Munger’s death offered a chance for reflection, a bit more focus on Warren’s mortality, and space for Vice Chairmen Greg Abel and Ajit Jain to offer specifics on Berkshire’s insurance and other business.
